Boatshed have teamed up with professional drone photographers AltiVision to offer a completely new perspective on boats for sale. New to the market - Jeanneau Merry Fisher 8

Thursday, 31 July 2014

Boatshed Dartmouth are delighted to offer for sale a two owner from new, well maintained and very well presented, Jeanneau Merry Fisher 8.
For cruising, the Merry Fisher 8 offers two distinct living spaces - a large saloon and a forward cabin in a spacious and well-balanced interior layout. The large volume of space on the interior can accommodate a family of four or two couples, featuring a generous forward cabin with a double berth and a saloon that converts into a second double berth. This example has clearly been well looked after – just take a look at the engine bay photos and you’ll appreciate how clean she is.

The self-tacking headsail makes for easy handling, a good-sized cockpit will fit everyone in and the interior feels spacious and light. This example currently lies afloat and is well presented. Boatshed Dartmouth are pleased to offer for sale a one owner from new, White Shark 265. The design and layout is always good and the 265 is no exception with two berths and a small galley cleverly concealed in the helm position.

A true classic – Restored Buchanan 35’ Yeoman MKII For Sale

Tuesday, 25 March 2014

Boatshed Dartmouth are delighted to offer for sale a truly classic Yeoman 35 MKII. Built by RJ Priors of Burnham on Crouch Essex in 1956 she has been lovingly restored over the past few years after being found ‘abandoned’ in a yard on the Clyde in 2005. Constructed from mahogany on teak she has impressive and classic lines providing “beauty, habitability and speed…” and is just full of character and quality fittings throughout. Her refit brought along a new sail wardrobe, new standing rigging, new engine and stern gear and much more. Just take a look through the impressive photos and you’ll appreciate this classic beauty. Exceptional Jeanneau Merry Fisher 695 for sale

Exceptional Jeanneau Merry Fisher 695 for sale

Saturday, 22 March 2014

Boatshed Dartmouth are delighted to offer for sale a Jeanneau Merry Fisher 695. These are really great boats and are perfectly suited to family cruising, fishing or just pure enjoyment. Rarely do we get to offer boats to the market that are as well presented as this Merry Fisher. I took plenty of photos to illustrate just how clean and tidy she is, right down to and including the bilges. Take a look at the equipment levels too – there’s shore power, with charging circuit and fully ducted cabin heating. Visiting this example on a fine sunny day it was clear to see why the Merry Fishers are so well liked. The deep safe cockpit, and a well laid out wheelhouse with seating for two at the helm makes these boats ideal for day trips or even weekending.

A lovely, spritely Swede. New to the market Scanmar 33 for sale

Monday, 03 March 2014

Boatshed Dartmouth are delighted to offer for sale a Scanmar 33. Coming from a Swedish heritage, build quality is, as might be expected, very good indeed and looking at this example you wouldn’t think she was built in 1986. Incredibly she has been in the same ownership from new. The layout below is great with a good-sized galley to port and heads to starboard. Scanmar owners will confirm that the 33 sails very well indeed. I found one review that stated: “I can highly recommend this boat - it is well made, sails like a dream and is comfortable below and on deck.” One owner commented; “We've sailed the Scanmar at least another 1,000 n.m. and I continue to discover exceptional qualities - comfort, speed, convenience, logical design choices, and clever details that make cruising aboard her a pleasure.”

She is fast and responsive at sea, can be handled short handed or even solo and provides good accommodation when in port.
