Boatshed Dartmouth are pleased to offer for sale a fine Vancouver 27. Designed for short handed ocean cruising the Vancouvers were built to a high standard with an incredible amount of space below in what is often described as ‘a big 27-footer’. This is a fine example as the current owner has invested a lot of time, energy and money to bring her up to scratch. Of particular note is that she was gel-shielded in 2009, new treadmaster decks in 2010, engine removed and serviced in 2010, new engine mounts and shaft bearings… the list goes on! The cutter rig keeps the headsails small and gives plenty of sail plan flexibility and the long keel provides good sea-keeping and directional stability. Every time I see the owner he is doing something else on the boat so this is a boat that is only going to get better! But above all this is a boat that could ‘go in the water tomorrow’ and you could be at the helm! A previous feature article is available on request. The topsides have recently been professionally cut and polished. Appointments to view should be made directly with Paul Singer, your Boatshed Dartmouth broker.
