Bill Dixon designed what was in effect a stretched version with encapsulated ballast and roomier interior. For a 40’ yacht the interior space is excellent especially with the C Layout (features the large forecabin, twin aft cabins, twin heads and nav station in the port aft cabin). When I first went onboard I was impressed by the excellent presentation of this yacht, the high standard of maintenance and of course the splendid Volvo D2-55 engine installed in 2004. With a cutter rig, in mast furling and everything led aft this is a great yacht to sail and is offered with an excellent inventory.
