Broker's Comments

It is not very often that a yacht as stunning and so well equipped comes along and onto the market. Without doubt this is Beneteau 473 is just perfect for blue water or long distance cruising or indeed as a very comfortable live aboard with the added bonus for the new owner of having to spend very little more on equipment. The addition of nearly 400w of solar panels, wind generator and state of the art Spectra watermaker means she is all but self sufficient. There is generally enough output from the ‘green’ energy devices to power fridge/freezer, watermaker, autopilot and lighting without the need for engine or shore charging. The Spectra watermaker includes an MPC500 controller which controls start up and flush cycles. The rig has been amended with the addition of an inner masthead forestay with Profurl unit.
She has benefited from one owner from new and when I first met the owner it was clear that he has bestowed much love, care and attention to detail on her. She took part in the ARC 2010 and lies fully equipped and ‘ready to go’. The vendor is prepared to make available charts (paper and C-Map) and pilot books of the Caribbean to the new owner. This is a truly superb yacht – grab it while you can. Please note that VAT was paid on first importation into the EU (documents on file). Remember you can see all the details and 69 photos at www.boatsheddartmouth.com
