Boatshed Dartmouth are pleased to offer for sale a Moody 31 MKII. It was a glorious evening when I stepped on board and she looked every bit as good as I expected. The current owner has enjoyed her and only recently sailed her to the Med and back. It is testimony to these superb yachts that he crossed the Bay of Biscay in a Force7/8 with just two reefs in main and genoa and closed hauled, still managed 7 knots. Her new sails (2010) and well maintained appearance make her a very attractive purchase. Designed by Bill Dixon, the MKII superseded the MKI in 1985. The MKII is virtually identical to the MKI except for the addition of a sugar scoop stern. Production of the MKII continued until 1991. Appointments to view (7-days a week bookings available) should be made with Paul Singer, your Boatshed Dartmouth broker.
