Broker's Comments
Provisional details awaiting owners approval
Boatshed Dartmouth are delighted to present a superb and fully restored Plymouth Pilot 18 for sale. The owner has completely re-built this boat to a very high standard. Iroko and teak has been used throughout and finished to near perfection. The hull was stripped bare and new bearers, cockpit sole, bulkheads, gunwhales, fore and aft decks were installed. All end grain on the marine ply bulkheads was resined and the teak and iroko has been finished with Danish oil. The engine has been serviced and new shaft seal, exhaust pipe, cutlass bearing, plastic fuel tank and much more besides installed. I have included some photos taken during the building and it is possible to see that the interior hull sides were flow coated as well. These are always popular boats and finding one of this quality rare indeed. The vendor is willing to add any extras that a purchaser might require. Alternatively he may be starting on a second hull soon and would be willing to ‘build to order’ to a customer specification on receipt of deposit and signed order. All viewings should be booked in advance with your Boatshed Dartmouth broker Paul Singer.
