Broker's Comments

Boatshed Dartmouth are pleased to present for sale a traditional and locally built Skerries Fisher. Built by Chesford Marine (formally of Frogmore, Devon) in the early 1960’s she is a fine example of craft of the era with plenty of beam affording a good sized cockpit and plenty of seating. She was restored in 2006 by a professional shipwright and in 2010 was fitted with a new Beta 20hp diesel, 40lt Vetus fuel tank, CAV filter, twin batteries with split charging, new prop and rope cutter. Rarely do wooden boats of this standard come on to the market and this one is all the better for having a new engine in 2010.
Viewings can be arranged 6-days a week with your Boatshed Dartmouth broker Paul Singer by prior appointment only.
